The Ruins of the Shanghai National Labor University, 1932

An interesting and rare album of photographs of the ruin of the Shanghai National Labor University (Laodong daxue), dated February 1932. The univesity, established in 1927 in the Kiangwan district of Shanghai, was heavily damaged by Japanese artillery in the 1932 Shanghai War – the university never reopened.
