The people at Bespoke Beijing and Penguin China have gotten together to organise another nighttime walking tour (the official one!) based on my book Midnight in Peking….contact them for tickets and to RSVP…

    Thanks for an inspiring blog and books also. I kept following you for long time, back when the bulldozing mania in China was most active. Bulldozing of historical monuments still going on, sure, but not much left to bulldoze anymore,

    Would you mind deleting an old comment of mine, written after a few beers under moonlight some years ago to your blog. Since I used my real name I occasionally get people asking me photographs, maps, history and this and that on Yunnan, but through a company connection, after they google me, and look me up that way. So the company can get question like “is P your employee, Im interested in his old photographs, can I have his email?” Id prefer to be without it.
