Not Sure Why Anyone Would be Interested but…Why I Write?

That’s Shanghai magazine are running a series of questionnaires with various Chinese and foreign authors in China about why they write, style, projects, favoured inspiration etc. Of course the title comes from Orwell’s essay Why I Write? Click here.

Anyway they just asked me to fill in their questionnaire and posted it on the web – I did my best. The piece also includes some details of my current project just announced at the Frankfurt Book Fair the other week, of which more details following soon.
